Pricing

Exact pricing depends on a number of factors, but mainly how many tapes you have, how much material is on them, and what format(s) you want them transferred to. The main digital formats are DVD and MP4 files, and we offer either orboth, and it is mostly the same price for the common formats. Tapes can be repaired, and the range for most repairs is $5 – $15 per tape. Professional DVDs are discs with completed menu descriptions and machine printing on the face. Backup DVDs have abbreviated menu descriptions and hand printing on the DVD face, and usually come free with MP4 file orders but are optional if you don’t want them, You can combine multiple short tapes onto the same DVD to save money, or keep them separate. Any tape formats or DVD/mini-DVDs can be combined together. These DVD masters can also be converted to MP4.

Single source to Professional DVD:

60 Minutes is $15 per tape >60 but 2:40 Minutes is $18.
4 Hours to 2 DVDs is $25 6 Hours to 2 DVDs is $30

Multiple sources to 1 DVD:

$20 for the first source, $5 for each additional, i.e. 6 tapes to the same DVD is $45, or roughly $7.50 per tape

DVD copies of DVD masters:

1-4 = $6/ea, 5-8 = $5/ea, 9+ = $4.50/ea
Pro DVDs can then be converted to MP4 files for $5 per disc.

Video to Digital File is based on how much material you have:

9.5 Hours of Footage is $12 per hour + $2 or $3 per tape
10 – 19.5 Hours of Footage is $10 per hour + $2 per tape
>20 Hours of Footage is $8 per hour + $2 per tape

Files are delivered on a USB drive which ranges from $7 – $30, and back up DVDs are included at no additional charge. If you have more than 7 discs, we put them in a case which is included as well.

Betamax, PAL/SECAM, 3/4 inch and Betacam formats are $5 per tape with the same costs per footage hour.

Tape repairs range from $5 to $15, Sticky tapes range from $5 to $30

We can recover pics and movies from most sim cards, SD cards and other digital sources. Contact us directly for a custom services quote.

Film Formats

  • 8/16mm Films to DVD or Digital Files:
  • Minimum price is $25 (Up to 100 feet of film)
  • No Set-up fees or extra charges for mixed format orders
  • $.15/foot Up to 450’
  • 14/foot 500 – 950’
  • 13 /foot 1000 – 1950’
  • 12/foot if over 2000 ft total. (Add .02/foot for S8 Sound Film).
  • 8/S8mm 3” reel is 50’

8mm Larger reels are 3 sizes:

  • 5” reels = up to 250 feet,
  • 6” reels up to 350feet
  • and 7” reels up to 450 ft.
  • 16mm 3.5”reel is 100’16mm 7”reels are 400+’, larger are usually marked.

Audio Cassettes, 8-tracks, Albums DAT, Mini Disc and Reel to Reel tapes

$10/cassette or LP – $15/DAT, 8Track or to CD and/or digital file.
Tracking of content is $1/track
De-Popper service for old scratchy LPs available.
Reel Tapes are priced by quantity of material on the tapes, at $20 per hour + $5 per tape.

Slides/Photos/Negatives

Just $.75/image or$1.25/image if set to music. Every project is different so contact us to discuss your needs.
